Sedating patients with mental disorders.
Treatment of parasites, hemorrhoids, boils, sores, skin diseases, rheumatism, headache, cholera, toothaches
Applied as poultices to reduce joint swelling
An elixir of the leaves is used as eye drops to cure eye issues such as conjunctivitis
Seed oil can be used for massaging painful muscles
In Asia, used to treat a wide variety of ailments such as hydrophobia, epilepsy, convulsion, syphilis, leprosy, smallpox, and mumps.
