Traditional Uses:  Made into a brew for Ayahuasca ceremonies

Soil fixing (fights erosion and ads nitrogen) and reforestation as well as shade.

Textile dye

Made into paste to reduce scaring from burns

Skin whitening

Syrup from bark used for cough or soar throat
